Put them on a couple of days ago. They are supposed to be good for fi motors. Put on the IK-20's (heat range of 6-one step colder than my stock ones.) Can't say I can tell any differences. My gas mileage still sucks. I didn't expect a gob of power, but maybe a little. It's like one of those things were you buy something kinda pricy, put it on and try to make yourself believe you actually noticed a power difference. I know I am still running pretty rich so I will try to take care of that soon.
Was wondering if anybody else here had these on their fi teg's or civ's. Did you notice anything?

What is your static fp? If you are running one of the bigger fuel pumps you may have the same problem I did, rich as hell!!! I checked my static fp and it was about 15 psi higher than it should be. I lowered it to around 54 psi and knocked 1/2 a sec off my 1/4 mile time!!!! I still think I am a little rich but I need to go back to the dyno to confirm for sure. Just a thought.

15.1 with a horrible 2.35 60 ft. I am hoping to get to mid 14's with more practice launching. I know it is possible. You have a 15.0 right?

    Yeah, here's that slip:

    R/T .673
    60' 2.236
    330 6.293
    1/8 9.702
    MPH 72.32
    1000 12.608
    1/4 15.088
    MPH 90.73

That's with the stock clutch, and nitto 450s. If there were no wheel hop in first gear that wouldve been 14 seconds!!

Yup, you should slowly and systematically lean your car out. What montitoring devices do you have? J&S, A/F, fuel pressure..... The Iridiums are going to allow you to run a leaner mixture because it will burn more efficiently then the normal plugs. Don't know much about the Civic setups but I run a static (0 pressure) of 65psi with a idle pressure of 40 and top side of 82. I also run RC 310's and the Cartech. I wish I had a good dyno closer to me so I could test these things but I guess it will have to wait. You just need to trust and know that the plugs are way better then the others and then tune your fuel so that the plugs can do their job efficiently. Rich conditions will kill power just as overly lean ones will. Adjust the pressure in 2 degree increaments to be safe if you don't have good tools to monitor det. and fuel pressures from inside the car. Good luck and be careful wink

I've bought the IK22 (equivalent to heat range 7) but have yet to put them in, since I've disabled the JRSC anyway. Gonna get the Cartech & bigger injectors, tune out the pinging, then put the iridiums in.
